My research falls under the category of infrastructure enabled autonomy which helps reduce the complexity of an autonomous vehicle. Specifically, my research involves working with FMWC mmWave radars in conjunction with an IR camera and 3M Smart Codes. Using the camera and the radar, a vehicle can be localized globally without the use of a GPS.
